He has a very sincere wink. It comes across as happenstance, unintentional, an unconscious conversation between his right eye and any words that carry irony or sweetness or laughter. Some winks I don't believe. They are exaggerated, cheekbone mooshing upwards and mouth wide open, comic, funny, wink wink nudge nudge. But his wink is not meant to be terminal punctuation, it's just a comma thrown in, just a twinkling behind a thought, just a moment, just long enough to have seen it, but to leave you wondering if maybe you didn't.
